Our pipeline includes protein ingredients from invasive algae and bioactive and nutritional supplements, as well as a texturised protein.
One of our biggest strengths is that we have sound knowledge and experience in product development. We are absolutely open and keen to work with companies in co-development of their products and applications. So far, we have worked with a company that makes plant-based seafood and a company that makes baked goods.
We have also explored using our products in other areas, such as pet food and sports nutrition.
At Poseidona, we’re harnessing the potential of the ocean by developing protein ingredients from seaweed sidestreams, from the agar industry for example, and invasive algae—a solution that not only provides nourishmentbut also helps to restore the ocean’s ecosystems.
Our processing technology, which we’re currently in the process of patenting, enables us to create high-quality ingredients from these resources.
We use the power of the enzymes to transform waste into something valuable and get the most out of the seaweed with the least amount of processing.
All our processing technology is being patented and thoroughly protected and we are open to licensing it for other markets and partners.
