CEO and cofounder

Sònia leads from the heart, from a perspective that she has gained through experience, and guides the team to make things happen. During her free time, you’ll find her somewhere in the woods or near the sea. Basically, the less civilisation, the better.

Dr María Cermeño

CSO and cofounder

As head of R&D, María has a real team spirit. She enjoys a day in the lab especially when it involves brainstorming ideas for future experiments. Not only that, she’s also the sweet tooth of the crew!

Dr Gala Morena

Scientific Researcher

Bird watching and any ocean related activities are some of Gala’s passions, alongside scientific research. She brings high standards, rigor and honesty to Poseidona’s team.

Óscar Cuéllar

Junior Scientific Researcher

Óscar takes the lead as the voice of R&D. He’s a creative and open-minded scientist with applied development skills. He’s never afraid of challenges and enjoys crossing borders to discover new places.

Rosalia Rubio

Finance and administration manager

Since Rosalia joined the team, we all knew we could sleep a little better. She ensures good management of our resources and makes sure that we are on track with financial obligations. Baloo and Mile are her beloved cats and petting them is part of her morning routine.
